Mae Klong Train Umbrella Market – Floating Market – Kanchanaburi

• DAY 1
• 06:15-07:15 Pickup from your hotel in Bangkok or meeting point in Bangkok and travel by minibus to Mae Klong Train Umbrella Market which is located southwest of Bangkok.
• 09:00 You will arrive at Mae Klong Train Umbrella Market and then visit the famous Train Umbrella Market on the train tracks and watch as the stall holders quickly pack away their goods as the train approaches.
• 09:30 You will then take a longtail boat to the edge of the Floating Market where you can walk around the market and experience the atmosphere of the Floating Market with merchants selling vegetables, fruits, foods, drinks, souvenirs and crafts from their boats and riverside stalls. If you wish to ride in a paddleboat this costs 150Baht per person extra and takes you through the Floating Market where you can observe the sale and exchange of various goods between parties in their boats as has been traditionally taking place for years.
• 11:00 Depart from the Floating Market and travel to Kanchanaburi.
• 13:00 Lunch at the local restaurant in Kanchanaburi.
• 13:45 After lunch you will visit the famous River Kwai Bridge which spans the Khwae Yai river in Kanchanaburi and was constructed by prisoners of war during the Japanese occupation of Thailand during the second world war. After the River Kwai Bridge you will visit the JEATH War Museum which houses many artifacts and photos from the second world war with details and explanations about this era.
• 16:00 Train ride along the Death Railway (about 40 mins).
• 17:30 Arrive at Kanchanaburi guesthouse and free time.
• Stay overnight in Kanchanaburi guesthouse.
• DAY 2
• 07:00 Breakfast at your guesthouse in Kanchanaburi.
• 08:30 You will travel to visit the Safari Park in Kanchanaburi. The Safari Park is an open zoo in Kanchanaburi which contains wild animals such as zebras, giraffes, antelopes, monkeys and big cats. You will drive through the Safari Park where you will get to interact with the different animals. You will feed the giraffes from your vehicle (extra 1,000Baht fee per person for Feed tigers or lions) and Enjoy your experience with the animals at the Safari Park.
• 12:00 Lunch at local Thai restaurant.
• 12:30 After lunch visit the famous Erawan Waterfalls. The beautiful Erawan Waterfalls consists of seven levels, each with an individual waterfall. There are many lovely swimming areas (extra 30Baht fee per person for life jacket rental if swimming) and many trails to explore. You will have 3 hours to enjoy at your leisure at the Erawan Waterfalls.
• 15:30 After enjoying the Erawan Waterfalls it is time to depart back to Bangkok.
• 18:30-19:00 Return to Khaosan Road area of Bangkok.
