Description
- 07:45-08:00 Pickup from your hotel in Bangkok or meeting point in Bangkok and travel by minibus to visit the Grand Palace and Emerald Buddha (Wat Phra Kaew). The Grand Palace and Emerald Buddha are majestic structures and important historical sites for any traveler to visit. From 1782 until 1925 these buildings were home to the Kings of Siam (later renamed as Thailand). The Grand Palace is now also a museum and a historical location that is still used today for special occasions.
- 10:00 After the Grand Palace you will visit the Temple of the Reclining Buddha which is also known as Wat Phra Chetuphon or the Wat Pho. It is one of the Bangkok’s oldest and most auspicious temples and is notable for its beautiful architecture, superb artwork, and the extraordinary giant reclining Buddha.
- 11:00 After the Temple of the Reclining Buddha you will travel just a short distance to the Temple of Dawn which is also known as the Wat Arun. It is regarded as one of Bangkok’s most distinctive monuments and is notable for its unique design and panoramic views of the Chao Phraya River and the skyline vista.
- 12:00 After the Temple of Dawn you will take a shared longtail boat trip along the Klong Bangkok Noi on the Chao Phraya River for about 45 minutes.
- 13:00-13:30 Return to Khaosan Road area of Bangkok.
