Description
- 06:15-07:15 Pickup from your hotel in Bangkok or meeting point in Bangkok and travel by minibus to Mae Klong Train Umbrella Market which is located southwest of Bangkok.
- 09:00 You will arrive at Mae Klong Train Umbrella Market and then visit the famous Train Umbrella Market on the train tracks and watch as the stall holders quickly pack away their goods as the train approaches.
- 09:30 You will then take a longtail boat to the edge of the Floating Market where you can walk around the market and experience the atmosphere of the Floating Market with merchants selling vegetables, fruits, foods, drinks, souvenirs and crafts from their boats and riverside stalls.
- If you wish to ride in a paddleboat this costs 150Baht per person extra and takes you through the Floating Market where you can observe the sale and exchange of various goods between parties in their boats as has been traditionally taking place for years.
- 11:30 You will visit the local Elephant Camp where you will ride an elephant through the jungle for about 20 minutes on one of these gentle giants.
- 12:00 After enjoying the vibrant atmosphere of the Floating Market and surrounding waterways it is time to depart back to Bangkok.
- 14:00 Return to Khaosan Road area of Bangkok.
