  • 07:45-08:00 Pickup from your hotel in Bangkok or meeting point in Bangkok and travel to a rendezvous point before traveling by minibus to the Erawan Museum in Bangkok.
  • 10:00 Arrive at the Erawan Museum. The Erawan Museum is based on mythology and built by a well known local antique collector who wished to preserve his antique collection as a heritage for the following generations. The giant three headed elephant part of the Erawan Museum is made of bronze and is 29 meters high. There are 3 floors contained within the giant elephant building.
  • The first floor contains a large collection of old Chinese vases and also shows the history of the construction of the Erawan Museum. The second floor displays antiques and artwork including old ceramics and European pottery. The top floor displays Buddha statues and ancient relics showcasing Thai history.
  • 12:00 After the Erawan Museum you will travel to the Ancient City (Muang Boran).
  • 12:30 Lunch at the Ancient City (Muang Boran).
  • 13:00 After lunch you will have free time to explore the Ancient City (Muang Boran). The Ancient City (Muang Boran) is one of the largest open-air museums in the world. The Ancient City (Muang Boran) features smaller replicas of some of Thailand’s most historic sites and you can observe palaces, temples, shrines, chedis, stupas, sculptures, tropical gardens and small lagoons. There is a also a floating market and an old style market town located here. The Ancient City (Muang Boran) is positioned in a beautiful area and an ideal location to learn about Thai history and culture in peaceful surroundings.
  • 16:00 After enjoying the Erawan Museum and Ancient City (Muang Boran) it is time to depart back to Bangkok.
  • 17:00-17:30 Return to Khaosan Road area of Bangkok.
