  • DAY 1
  • 06:15-07:15 Pickup from your hotel in Bangkok or meeting point in Bangkok and travel by minibus to the city of Ayutthaya which is located to the north of Bangkok.
  • 09:00 Arrive at the city of Ayutthaya. Here you will first visit Wat Phu Khao Thong which locates a 50 meter high chedi or Buddhist tower. After Wat Phu Khao Thong you will visit Wat Mahathat which is famous for the sand-stone Ayutthaya-style head of the Buddha image entwined in the roots of a giant fig tree. After Wat Mahathat you will visit the Ayutthaya Elephant Palace and Royal Kraal where you will ride an elephant (20 minutes).
  • 12:00 Lunch at local Thai restaurant.
  • 12:30 After lunch you will travel by ‘Tuk Tuk’ to the Ayothaya Floating Market which is a small traditional style Floating Market in Ayutthaya with locals selling fruits, vegetables, handicrafts and souvenirs as well as local foods and delicacies from their boats on the canal.
  • 14:30 After the Ayothaya Floating Market you will travel to visit Wat Chaiwatthanaram which is located on the bank of the Chao Phraya River in Ayutthaya. Wat Chaiwatthanaram was built in 1630 and is famous for its large central prang (Khmer-style pagoda) surrounded by smaller prangs.
  • 15:30 After enjoying the beautiful temples in the ancient city of Ayutthaya it is time it is time to check in Ayutthaya hotel
  • 16:00 Arrive at in Ayutthaya hotel and free time.
  • Stay overnight in Ayutthaya hotel.
  • DAY 2
  • 07:00 Breakfast at your Ayutthaya hotel.
  • 08:00 Pickup from your hotel in Ayutthaya and travel to visit the beautiful Summer Palace (Bang Pa In) which is known for its architectural styles blending traditional Thai with Chinese and European influences. The Summer Palace incorporates different buildings and pavilions set within peaceful tropical gardens and lakes.
  • 10:30 After Bang Pa In you will visit Wat Yai Chaimongkhon which was built by King U-Thong in 1357 for meditation purposes and is famous for its large chedi and rows of seated Buddha images.
  • 12:00 Lunch at local Thai restaurant.
  • 13:00 After lunch you will visit Wat Phra Si Sanphet which was once part of the Royal Palace and served as the most important temple of the Ayutthaya Kingdom for over 400 years.
  • 13:45 After Wat Phra Si Sanphet you will visit Viharn Phra Mongkol Bopit which houses one of the largest bronze Buddha statues in Thailand.
  • 14:30 After that you will visit Wat Lokaya Sutha which is famous for its giant reclining Buddha image measuring 42 meters in length.
  • 15:30 After completing the tour in Ayutthaya it is time to return to Bangkok.
  • 17:30 Arrive at Khaosan Road area of Bangkok.
